Our People

Professor Lijian Jin, Dean of HKU Faculty of Dentistry

Professor Lijian Jin is Dean of Dentistry, Chair Professor of Periodontology, and Modern Dental Group Professor in Clinical Dental Science. He has held leadership positions in major global dental organizations (FDI and IADR), and serves on the editorial boards of leading journals in periodontology. He was honoured with the prestigious Fellowship in Dental Surgery Ad Hominem by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2007. He plays an instrumental role in shaping and advancing global oral/periodontal healthcare initiatives.
